Mount Cutting Service
We offer a computerised mount cutting service both to the trade and general public using a Gunnar Hybrid F1 computerised mount cutter. This machine is the latest Swiss technology from the world leaders in Mount cutters.
We can supply regular cut mounts as well as custom designs to include circles, ovals, decorative corners – even custom designs designed through popular graphic design software.
We welcome enquiries from both the Trade and general public and can deliver throughout the U.K. All mounts are cut to order and therefore can be cut to the customers specification. For all sizes including multi aperture or none standard sizes please contact us for a quote.
Mountboard Facts
We only use the following grades of mountboard – with our standard mountboard being the most popular for general framing of artwork, photographs and prints.
- Cotton Museum Board – Used for conservation mounting of valuable Artwork
- Conservation Board – Minimum quality of board for conservation mounting of valuable artwork and Ltd Edition Prints.
- Standard Mountboard – Commonly referred to as white core or acid free – this is the minimum standard of mountboard that we use.
